Who are you, where do you live and what unique experiences do you offer?
My name is Paola Cairampoma. I am Peruvian, I live in Lima.
I have been guiding in Lima and other cities as well for about ten years, I can show the most beautiful palaces in the city, houses and historical streets.
I can make you feel the history and tradition in this city visiting emblematic streets, houses, restaurants, bars, etc.
Besides the city I can show you interesting natural lands quite close from this big city, where you can enjoy of the local fauna as the condor or whales, Humboldt penguins, etc.

What does Lima offer that you can’t find in other places?
Lima is an spectacular capital, located front the pacific ocean, nice weather, friendly people and a stoning history.
Lima is also a Gourmet Capital, the food is just amazing. There are plenty of Restaurants with different specialities such as regional food, Chinese food, Japanese food, Mediterranean food. All of them with a special Peruvian taste.
Furthermore, Lima is an important business centre in South America, here you can find the most important companies representatives and organize important meetings too.
What is the best season to travel to Lima?
Lima is a big nice city, you can come all seasons, if you like to enjoy the beach and summer come on January to March.
What to do if it rains once in Lima?
Lima is the second largest city in the world located over a desert. So it does not rain.

Summer : January to March.
Where to eat really well in Lima?
Many many places, the food is so good.

In which subject you are a local expert?
I am expert on History, Archaeology, Anthropology and local lifestyle.
How did you become a tour guide?
Because I liked History and Archaeology and I like to show it to travellers.
What do you enjoy most about leading tours?
Make people enjoy our culture and interchange life and experiences.
Why have you chosen to become a tour guide?
I decided to be a tour guide as travellers were very interesting in my services.
What do you do apart from showing people your country?
I work as a tourism consultant for planning and research.
What does local travel mean to you?
It is a way to get my own groups.
What is a typical custom of your culture?
Give kisses the first time you meet them.
What do you recommend to travellers to put in their bag when they make a trip to your country?
I highly recommend a good camera and space in your bag for souvenirs.
Which place you want to travel to the most?
Lima, Cusco, Puno, Arequipa, Chiclayo and Trujillo.
